Initiatives Across the Group
Women in leadership with INSEAD
In November 2022, we organised the first flagship women in leadership programme with INSEAD for our senior executives. Through a series of live webinars, 16 female participants gained a deeper understanding of the systemic challenges women face in achieving gender diversity within an organisation and how to be part of the conversation to drive change.
Building belonging through allyship
In October 2022, Gammon held its inaugural D&I event with interactive sessions, informative presentations and a panel discussion. The panelists explored the role of allies in the construction industry and how to be a good ally, supporting people of different backgrounds and experience levels.

Jardine Schindler Group (‘JSG’) launched two "I&D Got Talent" competitions in 2022, covering the topics of "gender" and "persons with disabilities". The competitions encouraged all JSG employees to propose creative or artistic illustrations, raising colleagues’ awareness of the I&D mindset and culture at work.
Learning and Development
We embed learning and development into every aspect of our work and invest in upskilling and reskilling our employees to maintain our competitiveness in the market.

Jardines Learn Fest ‘22
Jardines’ annual global learning week in 2022 had more than 6,700 participants across the Group from 30 different countries, representing a 42% increase compared to 2021. Over 82 speakers, panellists and moderators took part in sessions led by world-class speakers and internal experts. Participants indicated that Learn Fest inspired them to be more creative and entrepreneurial in support of organisational goals.
Two-hour Learning Challenge
The Two-hour Learning Challenge in November 2022 encouraged colleagues across the Group to upskill themselves by completing two hours of learning via the Group’s intranet, Connect. During the campaign period, more than 2,400 colleagues across the Group accumulated 9,250 learning hours within a month.
iLearn iShare
Since 2021, colleagues have been able to apply for an iLearn iShare learning grant to upskill or reskill themselves for their professional development. The grant’s educational philosophy is based on the Protégé Effect, a principle that asserts that teaching others what you have learnt reinforces your learning and understanding. Colleagues who applied for the grant are required to share what they have learnt with their colleagues.
Health, Safety and Wellbeing
We provide a safe and healthy work environment and encourage our colleagues to maintain their physical and mental wellness so they can bring their best selves to work. Explore the Group’s Key2Wellness programmes.
