Initiatives across the Group

Leveraging our extensive knowledge and innovative solutions in the engineering and construction industries, JEC, Jardine Matheson Corporate Office, Maxim’s and Zung Fu initiated a Jardines STEM Day, with a series of STEM workshops, game booths and company visits for a group of children from underprivileged families and ethnic minority groups.

The ACLEDA-Jardines Educational Foundation is aimed at transforming lives in Cambodia by empowering children with an equal opportunity to education. Jardine Schindler Cambodia and Hongkong Land also joined hands in the “Together for Education” programme, contributing their support to over 400 children at Rothmony primary school.

Promoting health and wellbeing
Health and wellbeing are the foundations upon which societies and economies thrive. We believe cultivating all-round health literacy and helping vulnerable individuals recover and reintegrate back into the society can greatly benefit our communities.
Initiatives across the Group

The annual “Walk Up Jardine House” and “MINDSET Challenge” events were successfully held to foster a sense of community and mutual support in raising funds to improve mental health at workplaces and in communities. A total of US$682,000 was raised through the events in 2024.

Mannings is the first community pharmacy in Hong Kong to offer support on mental health wellness. They deployed an “AI Wellness Scan” to enhance accessible preventive healthcare and service support, and have partnered with Mind HK, a local NGO, to offer free “Wellbeing Check-in” services with face-to-face consultations at the store.

United Tractors has launched the “Transforming Undernutrition to Thriving and Sustainable” programme in 2024 in collaboration with various stakeholders to reduce malnutrition and stunting in Indonesia. A total of 85 selected Integrated Healthcare Center (Posyandu) cadres attended training sessions to enhance their skills on various health services.

In 2024, MINDSET Hong Kong partnered with Starbucks to further enhance the workforce reintegration efforts at Mindbrew Café, a social enterprise set up in 2021 in collaboration with JRG and Baptist Oi Kwan Social Service. 10 trainees were offered pro-bono essential barista and customer service skills.
